Born in Colwyn Bay, Rosemary Worsley studied Fine Art (Sculpture) at Norwich School of Art. Working mostly in oils her landscapes of Norfolk and North Wales, where she returns often, reflect a deep attachment to the land, the changing colours of the seasons and a certain’ hiraeth’. Alongside a love of landscape is an abiding preoccupation with the Classical World and mythology. Ancient Greek culture and artefacts inform much of the recent ceramic work. Other areas of interest include working from the moving figure, drawing dancers and the sport of fencing.
